Lusail Marina DCP
Part of one of the largest district cooling systems in the world — with the region's two largest thermal storage tanks at 22,000 m³ each.
Lusail City's district cooling system will ultimately deliver 500,000 TR through multiple plants — Marina, Wadi, West and North — on one integrated network. In joint venture with BUTEC, ADC delivered the engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of the Marina District Cooling Plant for Marafeq Qatar.
The plant includes two 22,000 m³ thermal energy storage tanks — the largest ADC has delivered — an 11 kV intake distributing 70 MW, a 350 m deep chilled-water network and a 6,000 m³/day reverse osmosis plant for cooling-tower makeup water. ADC operated the plant after handover.
