NYU Saadiyat DCP 4

Design and build of the district cooling plant serving New York University Abu Dhabi — 16,000 TR ultimate capacity with energy transfer stations in every building.

DCP 4 delivers chilled water to the New York University Abu Dhabi campus on Saadiyat Island through energy transfer stations inside the university buildings. ADC designed and built the plant with an ultimate capacity of 16,000 TR: phase one comprised the complete civil works and building services, 9,000 TR of chiller capacity and 2,500 TR of thermal energy storage, for 11,500 TR.

The scope included the design, installation and commissioning of the energy transfer stations and 950 m of chilled-water network piping. Phase two adds a further 4,500 TR of chillers.
